Deliveries

If you terminated the rental agreement a delivery is scheduled by RWB Vastgoed Management. During a delivery the departing tenant and the new tenant will exchange keys and the property will be inspected by an employee of RWB Vastgoed Management for damages and adjustments. The meter readings will also be recorded.

An example of a delivery conducted by RWB Vastgoed Management can be found in following video:

How to deliver?
You can imagine that the next tenant of the property you’re going to leave would like to enter it in clean and tidy condition. Therefore we have created a checklist which you can use to deliver the house properly.

Change delivery appointment
Give notice to end your tenancy as soon as possible. This will increase the likelihood that we can take your plans into account. Check-in dates of properties are communicated via e-mail with tenants. Please be aware that during Check-in days, the inspectors schedule is extremely busy therefore it is not possible to move scheduled appointments to a different time.

You are a departing tenant and you are not able to attend the delivery:

  • You can authorize someone to attend on your behalf. Use this authorization form.
  • If that is not an option, you can personally deliver your keys and meter readings at RWB Vastgoed Management, including the accompanying form: departing tenant not present.
Leaving the property early is at your own risk. You can ask for a preliminary inspection where the condition of the property is checked before delivery. The rate for this is € 80,-

You are a new tenant and you are not able to attend the delivery:

  • You can authorize someone to attend on your behalf. Use this authorization form.
  • If that is not an option, you can pick up the keys the day after the delivery at our office.

If you are not able to attend the delivery, you should always notify RWB Vastgoed Management in advance.

Deposit
If you meet all the conditions, the landlord will returm the deposit within 2 weeks, within 4 weeks if a calculation needs to be made. In order to make this happen smoothly you must fill in a Deposit return form. You can send this by e-mail to oplevering@rwb-vastgoedmanagement.nl or bring a hard copy to the delivery.

Objections
If you do not agree with the settlement of your deposit, you can submit an objection. Only objections submitted in writing, enclosing a copy of the settlement, will be considered by RWB Vastgoed Management. You can send your objection to the address below:
